I have just finished a new site for Director Maria Juranic. The architecture is simple, it’s a one-pager with some clever jquery tricks for dividing up content and managing feeds from Flickr and Vimeo. This format allows for her to manage her work simply on these third party sites so that content is automatically updated on her website. Albums and tags in Vimeo and Flickr allow her to control which projects show up and where in her portfolio.
In addition to keeping management simple, running content via these third party sites allows for the client to take advantage of dependable image hosting and video streaming services in order to save cost and bandwidth.
